Silver Legacy Resort & Casino is situated in the city of Reno, the state of Nevada. The construction in the building started in early 1994, and the opening was in July 1995. The casino is owned by Eldorado Resorts LLC and MGM Resorts International and it is managed by Eldorado Resorts. Clyde Turner and Don Carano made the announcement of the official name in December 1994.

Silver Legacy Casino 407 N. Virginia, Reno, NV, 89505

In June 1995, Silver Legacy Resort got the gaming permit from the Nevada Gaming Commission. The opening ceremony was done with fireworks show and a performance of Reno Philharmonic. After being completed, the resort becomes a symbol of the Biggest Little City. The Waking up in Reno movie produced in 2002 was filmed at the Silver Legacy. In April 30, 2012 a deal has been reached to reconstruct the silver legacy.

Silver Legacy is considered one of the profitable casinos in the area. Though it has seen some financial problems in 2012, the resort comes out of the crisis in only five months after a loan from Wells Fargo. Major changes have been done in 2013 including the restoration of most restaurants and upgrade of other areas as well as marketing strategies.

In addition to gaming, the resort hosted performances of great names including for instance Jeff Dunham, The Maverick's, Julio Iglesias, Barenaked Ladies and a lot more. The theater at the Silver Legacy is featuring arts and attending an event there would a special experience. If you have chance of visiting the resort, you will undoubtedly like to make another visit. It’s an appealing place you would want to stay in for a long time, and the various activities there, you won’t like to leave.
